On Sunday evening, I received a notification on my phones an android app (that said it may be a good evening for a sunset in the North East of England, so I packed my camera gear and headed to Copt Hill at Houghton-le-Spring in the hope I could catch some of the promised light. Its a place that I have visited a few times already so I knew what the layout would be which takes a lot of the guess work out of a location when you have to make a mad dash to photograph it. One less thing to think about. Luckily the app was spot on for a change and it turned out to be very nice indeed. So nice I almost didn't feel the cold winter air freezing my fingers off! These are the three images that stand out from the dozen or so that I took. Hope you like them.
