I decided to visit a local location that I haven't been to in years today. This is the Groyne at South Shields on South Tyneside. I had studied the predicted cloud structure the night before and it seemed like it may give a good sunrise due to the mostly high cloud in the area. Unfortunately that marine cloud bank that seems to always hang in the North sea also made an appearance too stopping some of the light. Never the less it was a nice morning to be out. Waves gently lapping the shore as the tide was going out, a pleasant temperature for an autumn morning and I had the beach all to myself. Perfect.
