Now heres a shot that was taken years ago by myself. Its so old it was done before I owned a digital camera or even a computer, so yes, this is all totally done in-camera onto slide film.
If my memory serves me right, it was taken for the monthly Amateur Photographer magazine competition, APOY. It didn't win any prizes unfortunately but it may have gained a place in that months top 30 images.
I used a Minolta Dynax 5 and probably a 28-80 sigma for the shot onto slide film.
How it was taken - The blue came from a sheet of sticky back plastic which was placed under a sheet of glass. Drops of water were then placed on the glass itself. The H2O is the reflection of my lightbox (which was used to examine slides for those that don't know in this day and age…). I cut out H2O from some black card and placed it back to front and upside down so that it would be reflected the right way up in every water droplet on the glass. In some of drops you can see it has also been rendered as it actually was on the lightbox.
