The sunset didn't seem like it was going to come anything at the Angel of the North in Gateshead. But I stuck around to see what would happen. While I waited, I looked down at my feet and there, in the grass, was a toadstool. So after a little 'gardening', pruning the grass from around its base, I got the camera low down and used a bit of fill flash to light the toadstool with the sunset and Angel in the background. When people visit this art installation, many tend to emulate the outstretched wings of the angel and it seems that the visiting toadstools do too!
