Blue with cold.

Today, I used up my last days holiday from work. I had planed to make it a full day of photography and head up the Northumberland coast. The weather forecast wasn't looking good and it got it right. Grey cold and damp but that wasn't going to stop me getting out and about, sticking to the plans I had made for the day a few weeks before. First stop was at Embleton Beach, a place I visited in October and I hoped to better the images I had taken that day, which coincidently, was also grey, cold and damp. Bit of a pattern occurring here I see... Today however, was worse than then. Still I was out and about, so walked up to the holiday beach houses on top of the dunes. This was the first time I had actually been up to them but didn't expect that they would be my favourite images of the day. I tried to show them in their remoteness on the dunes and the coldness and drab colour of the day. I have a feeling these may make a nice set of framed prints. Maybe I can do that on the next off I get, or go out and take more photos, either way it will be a cold, grey damp day...
