A surprise in the woods

Following on from yesterdays post...While I was photographing the hay bale image, I could hear the sound of rushing water in the near distance and desided to investigate on the way back to the car. To my surprise, a burn runs parallel to the field, hidden in the woodland and the noise was from a small weir. I managed to set up my camera and tripod at the edge of the water and grab this shot. As it was summer, the canopy of leaves blocked most of the light out resulting in a long exposure and rendering the rushing water into a milky dream like mist. Although it looks nice in late summer, I think this location would lend itself to autumn with golden leaves littering shoreline. One for a return visit I think!
